Abstract
The decline in achievement in the last ten years, where Sriwijaya FC one of the clubs that once won the National League 1 Indonesia competition, is now relegated, even the journey in the division competition has not been as expected. The management system of the Sriwijaya FC club attracts researchers to research through scientific studies. This study evaluates the management system applied to the Sriwijaya FC South Sumatra football club. The method used in this research is to use qualitative research methods using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model, the research subjects consist of the club president, general secretary, treasurer regarding the budget, coaches, and athletes (players). Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively with the following steps: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, and (3) conclusion drawing. The results of the study showed: 1) The management of the Sriwijaya FC club management with its organizational structure still does not meet the good criteria, because there are still special interests of the management and there are still duplicate tasks on each board. 2) In recruiting coaches, the Sriwijaya FC club must consider various factors, such as experience, competence, desired playing style, and the ability to develop players. 3) Training program management has been carried out in accordance with the program created and implemented according to the expertise of each field. 4) Management of training facilities and infrastructure used by the Sriwijaya FC South Sumatra club is well managed. When viewed from the aspect of quality and quantity of training equipment available, it is sufficient in quality. 5) Funding management of the financial planning of the Sriwijaya FC club is considered very poorly prepared in entering the pre-season competition, it can be seen from the source of funds that enter the club that it can be said that it cannot fully meet the club's needs. Conclusion 1) Sriwijaya FC club management can already be categorized as moderate. 2) Human resource management of coaches and players can be categorized as moderate. 3) Training program management is categorized as good. 4) Management of training facilities and infrastructure used by the Sriwijaya FC South Sumatra club is categorized as good. 5) Funding management is categorized as not good.
