Abstract
Based on the results of the preliminary observations, the teacher in delivering social studies learning material emphasizes memorization, not problem-solving. This is shown by students who get ≥KKM (KKM = 70) are 17 of 30 students. The research was also aimed at finding out the differences in student learning outcomes using problem-based learning and scientific learning. This research uses true experiments. The population in this study were all students of class VA SDN Sambirejo totaling 30 students and VB SDN Sambirejo 01 totaling 30 students. The sample of this research was 60 students from 2 classes at SDN Sambirejo 01. Data collection techniques used tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique is the research prerequisite test, including the normality test, the homogeneity test, and the hypothesis test results, including the ttest. The results showed that through the t-test, it shows that there is no significant difference between student learning outcomes using problem-based learning models and scientific learning
