Abstract
Financial well-being is a felicity reflective condition of an individual who is capable of fulfilling all their needs. Financial well-being is a commitment by the Indonesian government that must be achieved throughout society in which one of the parts is university students. The initial observation results showed that class students of 2020 Semarang State University were not fully capable of achieving their financial well-being. The purpose of this research is to examine the influence of financial literacy, financial attitude, financial self-efficacy, and self-control towards financial well-being directly, as well through financial behavior. This research used a quantitative approach. The population used in this research is students of Semarang State University. Meanwhile, the sample chosen for this research is 380 students, picked out using Slovin formula and proportionate random sampling technique. The data collection tool used for this research is questionnaire. Furthermore, descriptive analysis, path analysis, and sobel test are used as the data analysis technique. The descriptive result of financial well-being, financial literacy, financial attitude, and financial behavior showed a good result. However, financial self�efficacy and self-control showed a very good result. The research result showed that financial literacy, financial attitude, financial self-efficacy, self-control, and financial behavior have a positive and significant influence towards financial well�being. Financial literacy, financial attitude, financial self-efficacy, and self-control have a positive and significant influence towards financial well-being through financial behavior. The role of financial behavior as an intervening variable is partial meditation, which means unable to meditate thoroughly. In conclusion, financial literacy, financial attitude, financial self-efficacy, and self-control have a positive and significant influence towards financial well-being directly, as well through financial behavior. Suggestions, the students need to enrich their knowledge about finance, such as saving, insurance, and infestation. Students should have good self-confidence and self-control related to financial management, in order to achieve financial well-being in the future
