Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop phase b ipas teaching materials based on West Kalimantan local wisdom to improve cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade students. The type of research used is Research and Devolopment (R&D) research with the ADDIE model. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, questionnaires, pre-test and post-test scores. The results of this development research are in the form of phase b ipas teaching materials based on West Kalimantan local wisdom that meet the valid criteria with the results of material expert validation of 96.8%, language validation results of 90%, media validation results of 92%, and readability test of 93.08%. The results of the t-test on SPSS calculations obtained the results of tcount > ttable, namely 26.340 > 1.686, meaning that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The effectiveness results obtained from the calculated n-gain value of 0.71 means that the learning outcomes fall into the high category. This shows that the product developed has high effectiveness so that it is feasible to use in learning and can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students.
