Abstract

Waqf is a charity for the benefits of the community for a long-term period, with a value that cannot diminish, cannot be sold and cannot be inherited. Waqf consists of waqf of non-movable objects such as land, buildings and waqf of movable objects such as money, securities and vehicles. The Islamic law of waqf is sunnah, while the law of cash waqf is jawaz (permissible). The potential for waqf collection in Indonesia is enormous however, it is not comparable to the realization of the amount of waqf collected. This study aims to determine the effect of attitude, knowledge, trust, religiosity, subjective norms and behavioral control on the intention of waqif to perform cash waqf. The approach used in this research is the theory of planned behavior approach. This research was conducted at the National Amil Zakat Institution PPPA daarul Qur'an Central Java. The population used in this study were waqf donors (wakif) registered at Laznas PPPA Daarul Qur'an, which totaled 368 people. The sampling technique used was Incidental Sampling. Determination of the number of samples using the Slovin formula with a tolerance range of 5% so that a sample of 192 people was obtained. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The data analysis method was carried out using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 analysis software. The results showed that attitude has a positive and significant effect on the intention to perform cash waqf, knowledge has a positive and significant effect on the attitude to perform cash waqf, trust has a positive and significant effect on the attitude to perform cash waqf, subjective norms and behavioral control have a positive and significant effect on the intention to perform cash waqf. This study concludes that knowledge, trust, and religiosity have a positive and significant influence on the attitude of performing cash waqf, while attitude, subjective norms and behavioral control have a positive and significant effect on the intention of waqif to perform cash waqf. The suggestion of this research is that PPPA Daarul Qur'an should increase the socialization of the cash waqf program not only to registered waqifs but also to the general donors and increase the accountability and transparency of the institution to increase donor intentions in contributing to cash waqf
