Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the Problem Based Learning model based on science edutainment to improve critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The type of research used in this study is quantitative. The research was conducted in class V SD Negeri 12 Buay Pemaca, South Ogan Komering Ulu Regency in the 2021/2022 academic year with 48 students as research subjects. Data collection techniques include interviews, tests, questionnaires and observation. While for data analysis techniques using descriptive quantitative. The results of this study are to show that, based on the independent sample ttest on the learning outcome variable, a significance value of 0.036 > 0.05 is obtained, which means that the Problem Based Learning model based on science edutainment has an effect on student learning outcomes. The results of the independent sample t-test on the critical thinking ability variable obtained a significance value of 0.043 > 0.05, which means that the Problem Based Learning model based on science edutaiment has an effect on learning outcomes. The conclusion of this research is that the problem-based learning model based on science edutainment influences the ability of students to complete learning related to problems and can improve learning outcomes and students' critical thinking skills
