Abstract
The problem of learning biology at SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong shows that the learning process is still teacher-centred, the learning process has not been linked to the potential in the surrounding environment, limited learning hours, and the use of learning media has not been maximized. So that the achievement of competencies 3.11 and 4.11 regarding environmental change has not been fully fulfilled. Therefore, an Edmodo-based learning media for environmental change was developed. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of the media, to analyze the improvement of student outcomes, to know the students' environmental care attitude, and to know the response of teachers and students to media development. This type of research is research and development in improving learning outcomes using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design and to determine students' environmental care attitudes using an instrument in the form of an environmental care attitude questionnaire. The research subjects were material and media experts to obtain media feasibility, students of class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong to obtain data on learning outcomes and environmental care attitudes in KD material on environmental change, biology subject teachers, and students of class X MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong to obtain responses to the developed media responses. The data collection method is a feasibility questionnaire, tests (pretest and posttest questions), environmental care attitude questionnaire sheets, and teacher and student response questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the percentage of the feasibility of learning media by material experts was 87.5% with very feasible eligibility criteria and a percentage of 92.6% with very feasible eligibility criteria by media experts. Student learning outcomes have increased seen through the calculation of N-gain in the medium category by 26% and in the high category by 74% and students' classical completeness by 100%, these results indicate that the use of media can improve student learning outcomes in the cognitive domain. The percentage of environmental care attitude questionnaire results was 89% with a very good category indicating the effectiveness of learning media to determine students' environmental care attitudes. Media development also received a very good response by teachers and students with an average percentage score of 93.5%. The conclusions of this research learning media based on digital platforms for environmental change material is very suitable for use in learning activities, the use of media can improve student learning outcomes and know students' environmental care attitudes. The media developed has received a very good response by the teacher and students.
