Abstract
Preparation of history teachers at MAN 2 Semarang City in dealing with learning during the Covid-19 still lacking, so that the delivery of learning materials is less than optimal which has implications for low student learning outcomes. Based on data on student learning outcomes for class X IPS in the Middle Assessment of Semester 1 for the academic year 2021/2022, class X IPS 1 has the highest score of 72, 5, X IPS 2 has the highest score of 65, X IPS 3 has the highest score of 62, 5, and class X IPS 4 has the highest score. the highest score is 67, 5. KKM (Minimum Completeness Criteria) for the history subject of specialization is 75, it can be concluded that there are no students who get scores above the KKM, meaning that student learning outcomes are still less than optimal. This study aims to: 1) Knowing the needs analysis of students in class X IPS MAN 2 Semarang City in learning history of specialization, 2) Knowing the responses of class X IPS MAN 2 Semarang City students to the use of the Quizizz application as an evaluation medium, and 3) Knowing the effect of using the application. quizizz as an evaluation medium for student learning outcomes in class X IPS MAN 2 Semarang City This study uses an experimental method in the form of one group pretestposttest with data collection techniques through interviews, documentary studies, tests and questionnaires. The population in this study were students of class X IPS MAN 2 Semarang City. Sampling was carried out using a cluster random sampling technique and selected class X IPS 3 which consisted of 36 students as the research sample. The data analysis technique used descriptive percentage analysis and paired t-test. The results showed that the response variable using the quizizz application as an evaluation medium was 75, 17% was in the good category. The results of the analysis using the paired samples test showed a significance value of 0, 000 < 0.05, and the value of t count > t table, which was 6, 935 > 2,029, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected, meaning that there was an effect of using the Quizizz application as media evaluation of student learning outcomes significantly. The average value of the pretest 68, 81, and posttest 84, 25. The conclusion of this research is that the consistent use of the Quizizz application will improve student learning outcomes. The researcher's suggestion from this study is that the quizizz used as a reference for making policies and providing facilities that support teaching and learning activities, and can be used as a teacher as a medium in learning evaluation activities.
