Abstract
The conduct of history learning as a subject to transmitting knowledge followed by embedding values in the New Normal Covid-19 era is organized in accordance with the condition. Through the offline and hybrid learning as an alternative, both are having their own advantages and disadvantages. Based on that reason, it is considered as important to discover the compliance of the knowledge transmission and embedded values in offline and hybrid history learning implemented at SMA Walisongo Semarang in order to identify the suitable pattern for the implementation. This research analyzed several problem formulations as follow: 1) How is the conduct of hybrid learning on history learning in the New Normal Covid-19 era at SMA Walisongo Semarang? 2) How is the conduct of offline learning on history learning in the New Normal Covid-19 era at SMA Walisongo Semarang? The method applied in this research is a qualitative method with the strategy of case study. The location is taken place at SMA Walisongo Semarang. The data source used are the document of RPP, syllabus, list of student’s grade, and other appropriate school’s document as well as the history learning activity at SMA Walisongo Semarang. Technique in collecting data is conducted by interview, documentary, and observation, while in examining the validity of the data, source triangulation is applied. To analyze the data interactively, it consists of collecting data, reducting data, presenting data, and taking a conclusion. The results of this study show that 1) The conduct of hybrid learning on history learning in the New Normal Covid-19 era at SMA Walisongo Semarang is not effectively implemented from the perspective of compherension and learning goals compliance. It is happened due to the lack of teacher in creating such an active learning atmosphere, then it has an effect on the student to understand the material. 2) The conduct of offline learning on history learning in the New Normal Covid-19 era at SMA Walisongo Semarang is well-implemented and very effective, efficient, as well as flexible. Student’s learning outcomes during the offline period is increased where the compliance of the historical learning’s goals is welltransmitted. The suggestion resulting from this research namely, based on the situation of New Normal era, in terms of learning, teacher needs to find the right pattern of learning to be implemented. By looking from the consideration on the implementation of hybrid and offline learning, it is better for SMA Walisongo Semarang to apply the offline learning as their pattern in New Normal era.
