Abstract
This study aims to prove existing or not the ef ect of group guidance with symbolic modeling techniques on self-adjustment of PP Al Ustmani Kajen in Pekalongan Regency. The subject of this research is 50 grass VII class, and as the sample of 10 santri that has a very low, low, and high self-adjustment rate. Sampling techniques taken with purposive sampling techniques. Methods of data collection using santri self-adjustment scale. Data analysis technique used namely descriptive analysis of percentage and paired-samples test t test using SPSS Program 1 version of the study. The results showed there was a change in signs adjustment level before and after following the group guidance service with symbolic modeling techniques experienced a flat average increase of 9% of the initial result when pre-test was 56% to 65% during post test. In addition, the data and the results of the Paired-Samples T test test obtained value is 0.05, the research hypothesis received the SIG value. (2-tailed) is worth 0000.
