Abstract

Memiliki karier yang sukses merupakan impian semua mahasiswa dan hal tersebut menjadi tantangan tersendiri. Penelitian ini berfokus pada career engagement yang merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhinya yaitu efikasi diri yang dalam penelitian ini dispesifikan menjadi efikasi diri keputusan karier. Subyek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 320 mahasiswa FIP UNNES yang dipilih secara stratified random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara efikasi diri keputusan karier dengan career engagement pada mahasiswa FIP UNNES. Hasil eksplorasi lebih lanjut dari lima indikator efikasi diri keputusan karier yaitu (1) penilaian diri yang akurat, (2) informasi pekerjaan, (3) pemilihan tujuan, (4) perencanaan, dan (5) pemecahan masalah menunjukkan bahwa hanya indikator perencanaan yang berkontribusi terhadap career engagement. Hasil temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi layanan konseling karier di tingkat perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan perencanaan karier sehingga mahasiswa akan proaktif mengembangkan kariernya sehingga memiliki karier yang sukses dimasa depan.
