Abstract
Work productivity is crucial in every company. The work productivity of Central Java Province is still below the national work productivity rate, while Wonogiri Regency is in the 20% district/city with the lowest work productivity. Work productivity in the food and beverage sector is ranked 14th out of 17 sectors. One of the factors that affect work productivity is calorie intake. A person whose caloric intake is not fulfilled will decrease productivity and require supplementary feeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of occupational nutrition intervention through supplementary feeding on work productivity among workers at packing section of PT X. The type of research is quasi-experimental with one group pretest and posttest design. The instruments used are food record sheets, observation sheets and measuring instruments which are microtoise, body scales and oximeter. Data collection techniques are observation and measurement. With the sample is 38 workers. Analysis using Nonparametric Wilcoxon test. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant effect between supplementary feeding on work productivity with a value of p=0,000 (p <0,05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of occupational nutrition intervention through supplementary feeding on work productivity. Suggestions in this study are the company is expected to provide additional food (snack) and pay more attention to the number of calories given to workers.
