Abstract

This research based on low interest in conventional learning. Renewal of student�centered learning, namely the Guided Inquiry Model with the help of Interactive Media is needed to increase student interest and learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness and influence of Guided Inquiry Model learning on students' interests and learning outcomes in Science with the help of interactive media. This study used a true experimental design, namely a control group pretest posttest control group design. The sample of this research was 59 students from 2 classes of SDN Pati Kidul 01 in Pati sub-district, Pati district. Data collection techniques used tests and non-tests. The data analysis technique is a prerequisite test of research including normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test results including effect size, descriptive statistical test, t-test, normalized gain test, descriptive statistical test, and simple linear regression test. The results showed that (1) the guided inquiry model based on interactive media was effective in increasing student interest in learning, (2) the guided inquiry model based on interactive media was effective in improving student science learning outcomes, (3) the guided inquiry model based on interactive media had a strong correlation. great on student interest and learning outcomes. The conclusion of the study is that the Interactive Media�Based Guided Inquiry Model is effective and has a positive effect on students' interest and learning outcomes in Science. The implementation of guided inquiry learning based on interactive media will be more efficient if the learning needs and facilities are met thoroughly which can visualize real student knowledge in the classroom.
