Abstract
Guidance and counseling functions to empower students to achieve their developmental tasks during the COVID-19 pandemic where the conventional method shifts to online. This process inevitably requires the role of parents to support students’ development. Through this phenomenon, the researchers attempted to reveal the level of parents’ understanding of online counseling services. 350 respondents consisting of parents having children attending secondary schools were involved. Findings showed that the level of parents’ understanding of online counseling services was low. Further, limitations and suggestions are included in this paper.
