Abstract

Keywords: Poverty, Effectiveness, Program Keluarga Harapan Poverty is one of the problems that is always faced by every government in the world, including in Indonesia. High poverty can lead to greater expenditure on economic development which in turn can impede development in various sectors. Kendal Regency is a poor area with the yellow zone category in Central Java. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the distribution and effectiveness of the Program Keluarga Harapan in Kendal Regency as a poverty reduction program. This research uses mix methods. The population of this study were all recipients of the Program Keluarga Harapan assistance with a sample of 100 respondents through purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. The results showedThe variable of goal accuracy has not reached the goal with a percentage value of 61.25%, the satisfaction variable with the program obtained results from being satisfied with the program with a percentage of 80.65% and the target accuracy variable was obtained with very precise target results with a percentage value of 61%. Suggestions related to this research areIt is necessary to immediately design technical guidelines for business assistance for KPM, optimization of guidance by eliminating "poor mentality" by changing the character of KPM to work hard to break the chain of poverty in their families, and the need for strong coordination and cooperation to commit to efforts to alleviate poverty.
