Abstract

Learning achievement is the result of learning achieved by students when participating in learning activities in schools that serve as benchmarks to assess whether education in a school is successful or not. The purpose of this research is to find out whether there is an effect of learning activeness in learning and emotional intelligence on learning achievement. The population in this study were all accounting students of Semarang State University accounting for 94 students. The sampling technique used was quota sampling using calculations based on the Slovin formula. The number of samples was 94 students. The data collection method is a questionnaire. This study uses descriptive analysis and simple regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the significance value of the learning activeness variable is 0.284 and the significance value of the emotional intelligence variable is 0.533. The significance value is more than 0.05 so that learning activeness and emotional intelligence partially affect learning achievement. The conclusion from this study is that learning activeness influences learning achievement. Emotional intelligence influences learning achievement. The advice given in connection with the results of this study is that students should be more active in receiving material from teachers given their activity in participating in learning has the potential to improve student learning outcomes.
