Abstract

Vocational High School (SMK) is one of the educational institutions that specifically aims to prepare students to be ready to work, both working independently and filling out existing job openings. Based on preliminary observational data at the Lamongan District Vocational School shows that not all graduates have been optimally absorbed. Industry conditions 4.0 in the 21st century support changes in the skills of the workforce needed by the world of work and industry. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of 21st Century Skills of Lamongan Vocational School Students on Work Readiness in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0. The population in this study were students of class XII of Lamongan District Vocational School by 1764 students. Total sample members were 326 students who were calculated using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. This research approach is quantitative. The study used a questionnaire method to collect data. The method of data analysis is done by descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the life and career skills of SMK students in Lamongan Regency on work readiness in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 gave a partial influence of 9.48% with t count> t table (5.813 > 1.967). Learning and innovation skills of Lamongan District Vocational School students on work readiness in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 gave a partial influence of 7.45% with t arithmetic> t table (5.098 > 1.967). Information, media and technology skills of SMK students of Lamongan Regency on work readiness in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 gave a partial influence of 3.92% with t count> t table (3.629 > 1.967). 21st Century Skills Lamongan Vocational School students on work readiness in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 gave a simultaneous influence of 61.7% with F arithmetic > F table (175,580 > 2,630). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that 21st Century Skills of Lamongan Vocational School students on work readiness in the Industrial Revolution Era 4.0 had a simultaneous influence. Suggestions are given to improve work readiness in industry 4.0, students with teacher support jointly optimize 21st Century Skills.
