Abstract
Work readiness is a condition of a person which includes aspects of one's knowledge, skills, attitudes to prepare for the world of work. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of industrial work practices, work motivation and family support for class XII students of State Vocational School 6 in 2019/2020. The population in this study were students of class XII of SMK Negeri 6 Semarang in the academic year 2019/2020 totaling 425 students and the sampling technique was proportional random sampling with 81 students. The data collection method was a questionnaire. The methods of data analysis were multiple linear regression, percentage descriptive analysis, classic assumptions and hypothesis testing. The result of the study from multiple regression analysis is the equation, Y = 8,196 + 0,156 + 0,302, + 0,178 + e. The F test result shows that the calculated F value of 103.224 obtains a significance value of 0.000, less than 0.05. The industrial work practices, work motivation, and family support influence simultaneously work readiness of students of SMK Negeri 6 Semarang by 79.3%. Then, partially industrial work practices have significant effect to work readiness by 20.25%. Work motivation has a significant effect on job readiness by 38.44%. Family support has a significant effect to work readiness by 20.07%. Based on the results of the research above, school should improve the evaluation for teachers assigned supervisors so that the students can have better practices, the school through Special Job Fair (BKK) should hold socialization as a motivation for student to enter the workforce so that students can understand work motivation well, the school and parents should have collaboration to give support for student relate to work readiness as their roles are very influential.
