Abstract

This study aims to assess improvement of starting system component failure analysis capability for vocational teacher trainees of automotive education. This is a quasi-experimental research with single group pretest-posttest design. Populations in this study were all students of Automotive Education Study Program, and the 40 samples were students programming automotive electrical in odd semester 2015-2016. The results showed that the ability to analyze failures in the starting system using multimedia is greater than before using multimedia, and the difference was significant.
