Abstract

Siswa sekolah dasar adalah kelompok usia yang masih mempunyai keinginan untuk selalu bergerak. Berbagai perilaku anak-anak yang tanpa disadari dapat meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan antara lain bergurau dan tidak melihat ke kanan dan kekiri, tidak memperhatikan rambu-rambu lalu lintas dan warna lampu lalu lintas saat menyebrang. Kecelakaan dapat terjadi karena dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya faktor dan salah satu faktor tersebut adalah pengetahuan akan pendidikan keselamatan (Safety Education) pada anak sekolah dasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan anak sekolah dasar tentang safety education (pendidikan keselamatan) di Sekolah Dasar Swasta Pangudi Luhur Bernardus 02 Semarang. Jenis dan rancangan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui gambaran penerapan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengetahuan anak sekolah dasar tentang safety education (pendidikan keselamatan), terdapat 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi yaitu: faktor manusia (siswa/i=76,47%, guru=63,64%, kepala sekolah=30%, komite sekolah=100% sesuai standar), faktor sarana dan prasarana (sarana prasarana olahraga=71,43%, Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah=87,5%, sanitarian: kamar mandi=75% dan kantin sekolah=33,3% sesuai tandar) dan faktor penunjang pembelajaran (media pembelajaran=100% sesuai standar dan bahan ajar=20% belum sesuai standar). Saran rekomendasi adalah pemenuhan upaya pencegahan kecelakaan disekolah seperti: melengkapi proteksi aktif dan pasif; melengkapi buku-buku teks, bahan ajar berupa film/video; pengadaan kembali pelatihan atau simulasi kebencanaan; menyisipkan materi pada mata pelajaran tertentu. Accidents can occur because motivated by many factors and one of those factors is the knowledge of safety education (Safety Education) on elementary school. The aim of this study is to describe the factors that affect children's knowledge about the safety of primary school education (school safety) in Elementary Schools Pangudi Luhur Bernardus 02 Semarang. The type and design of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The survey results revealed description of the application factors that affect children's knowledge about the safety of primary school education (school safety), there are three factorsthat affect: human factors (students = 76.47%,teachers= 63.64%,headmaster = 30 %, school committees= 100% according to standards), facilities and infrastructure factors (infrastructure as sports = 71.43%, School Health (UKS) = 87.5%, sanitarian: bathroom = 75% and a school canteen = 33.3% according tostandart) and the supporting factors of learning (learning media = 100% standards and learning materials = 20% yet appropriate standards). Suggestion recommendation is the fulfillment of accident prevention efforts in schools such as: complement of active and passive protection; complement of textbooks, teaching materials in the form of film / video; provision of retraining or simulation of disaster; slip material on specific subjects.
