Abstract
Kandungan benzena dalam lem menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan sistem perdarahan pekerja industri sepatu yang memicu pada perubahan profil darah hingga keganasan. Pajanan benzena masuk melalui inhalasi, dermal, dan gastrointestinal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, bertujuan mendeskripsikan permasalahan yang ditemukan baik berupa risiko atau hasil terkait biomarker berupa neutrofil 13 pekerja. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pekerja mempunyai neutrofil segmen normal 12 orang (92,31%) dan tidak normal 1 orang (7,69%). Neutrofil batang normal 3 orang (23,08%) dan tidak normal 10 orang (76,92%). Pekerja mengalami pergeseran hitung jenis leukosit ke kiri sebanyak 12 orang (92,31%) dan pergeseran hitung jenis leukosit ke kanan 1 orang (7,69%). Serta metabolit benzena dapat menghambat eritropoesis dengan jalur inhibisi aktivitas decanetation DNA dari topoisomerase II. Penghambatan ini dinyatakan sebagai mekanisme pembentukan Leukimia Myeloid Akut (LMA). Saran yang direkomendasikan agar pekerja meningkatkan praktik personal hiegene, dan tempat industri memberian sekat ruangan kerja, pemasangan ventilasi serta menyediakan APD. The content of benzene in glue caused the health problems bleeding system of shoe industry workers. Benzena exposure was absorption by inhalation, dermal, and gastrointestinal. The type of this research is kualitative descriptive, and the purposed was to describe problems found either the risk or result related biomarker neutrophils of 13 workers. The result of this research, showed workers who have normal segment neutrophil are 12 people (92,31%) and abnormal was 1 person (7,69%). Normal rod neutrophil were 3 people (23,08%) and abnormal were 10 people (76,92%). Workers who have shift to the left were 12 people (92,31%) and shift to the right was 1 person (7,69%). And benzene metabolites can inhibit the pathway inhibitation eritropoesis decanetation activity of DNA topoisomerase II. This is stated as inhibition of the formation mechanisme of Acute Myeloid Leukimia (AML). The suggestion can be given are who workers to improve personal hiegiene practice, and the workplace gives work room divider, installing a ventilation and provide PPE.
