Abstract

Desa Purwosari adalah salah satu desa yang melaksanakan program STBM. Sanitasi di Desa Purwosari belum meningkat, dan partisipasi masyarakat untuk melaksanakan program masih rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji partisipasi masyarakat dalam pelaksanaan Program STBM pilar pertama (Stop BABS) di Desa Purwosari Tahun 2015. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengambilan informan secara purposive sampling. Informan penelitian yaitu masyarakat yang mengikuti program STBM, Petugas Puskesmas Sayung 1, Bidan Desa Purwosari, dan perangkat desa. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan FGD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam melaksanakan program STBM di Desa Purwosari masih rendah, alasannya karena kondisi lingkungan sering terjadi abrasi, dan perilaku masyarakat. Faktor Internal yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat adalah mata pencaharian, pendapatan, pengetahuan masyarakat. Sedangkan Faktor Eksternal yang mempengaruhi adalah stakeholder yang ikut terlibat. Saran yang diberikan yaitu STBM di Desa Purwosari sebaiknya dilakukan sesuai tahapan dalam panduan pelaksanaannya dan semua pihak dapat mendukung pelaksanaannya. Purwosari village is one of the villages that implement the program. Sanitation in Purwosari has not increased, and the participation remains low. This study purposed to assess the community participation in the implementation of the first pillar of STBM Program (Stop BABS) in Purwosari in 2015. The research was a qualitative with the technique of making informant by purposive sampling. The informants were people who take the program, staffs of Sayung Public Health Center 1, Purwosari’s midwives, and village officials. The techniques used to collect the data were interview, observation, documentation, and FGD. The results showed that community participation to implement the program in Purwosari remains low, the reasons were the community behavior and abrasion. Internal factors that influence were the community participation, income, and knowledge. While external factors affect was the involve of stakeholders. The advice given was the STBM program in Purwosari should be applied according to the stages of implementation guide and all parties should support the implementation.
