Abstract

Angka kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia masih menempati urutan tertinggi untuk wilayah Asia Tenggara, meskipun telah mengalami penurunan jumlah. Menurut data Depnakertrans tahun 2006, jumlah kasus kecelakaan kerja di Indonesia pada tahun 2003 sebanyak 105.846 kasus, tahun 2004 sebanyak 95.418 kasus, tahun 2005 sebanyak 96.081, dan tahun 2006 sebanyak 70.069 kasus. Jumlah tersebut menurun sebesar 37,12 persen dalam kurun waktu 4 tahun terakhir ini. Untuk menanggulangi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja yang berakibat terganggunya proses produksi sehingga menyebabkan kerugian perusahaan, maka perlu diketahui faktor resiko penyebab kecelakaan tersebut sehingga dapat dilakukan upaya pencegahan. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah faktor apa yang menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja PT. Jamu Air Mancur. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor resiko penyebab kecelakaan di PT. Jamu Air Mancur. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pekerja PT. Jamu Air Mancur yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja selama tahun 2007 sebanyak 11 orang. Sample berjumlah 10 orang. Perolehan data langsung dari responden dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan dokumen perusahaan. Teknik analisa data yaitu dengan menelaah hasil perolehan data, reduksi data, membuat prosentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh Faktor resiko yang berpotensi menyebabkan kecelakaan kerja di PT. Jamu Air Mancur tahun 2007 adalah: usia, masa kerja, pelatihan K3, APD, sikap kerja, pelindung mesin, kondisi jalan yang dilalui. Saran yang dapat diajukan antara lain: (1) Bagi perusahaan, hendaknya dapat memperbaiki SMK3, pelaksanaan pelatihan K3 sebaiknya diadakan rutin atau teratur dengan mengikut sertakan seluruh elemen perusahaan, penyebaran informasi K3 hendaknya lebih ditingkatkan, mengontrol dan memperbaiki sarana prasarana yang telah menjadi penyebab terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dan tempat yang berpotensi besar untuk terjadinya kecelakaan kerja; (2) Bagi tenaga kerja, lebih meningkatkan kewaspadaan ketika bekerja dan saat berada dalam perjalanan, mematuhi peraturan, merubah perilaku tegesa-gesa saat bekerja dan saat dalam perjalanan. -----------------------------------------------------> Rate of work accident in Indonesia still occupy the highest sequence for South-East Asia region, even though it has been decreased recently. According to data Depnakertrans 2006, amount of work accident’s cases in Indonesia in the year 2003 was 105.846 cases, year 2004 are 95.418 case, year 2005 was 96.081, and year 2006 was 70.069 cases. The amount is on the decline to 37,12 % for the last 4 years. To overcome the work accident that cause the production process trouble and financial loss of a company, is necessary to find out any risk factors that cause the accident to prevent another accident. The problem of this research covers what factor caused the work accident of PT. Jamu Air Mancur. The purpose of this research is to find out risk factors cause that accident in PT. Jamu Air Mancur. This research is qualitative descriptive research with an approach of case study. Population in this research is the 11 of workers PT. Jamu Air Mancur who got work accident were taken 2007. Sample amount is 10 people. Data acquisition directly from respondents by using research instrument in the form of company’s document and questionaire. Technique of analyzing the data is by analyzing the data acquisition result, reducting the data, and making percentage. Based on the research result, it is obtained the Risk factors which potencially cause the work accident in PT. Jamu Air Mancur year 2007 are: age, year of service, training of K3, self safety devices, work attitude, machine guarding, and condition of road. Some suggestions that can be learnt are: (1) For the company, hopefully it improve/repair SMK3, the training of K3 would better be performed regularly by involving all company’s element, the information K3 should be improved, the facilities that had caused or may cause the work accidents need to be well controlled or repaired. (2) For the workers, it is necessary to increase their awareness during they work and when they are on the way, obey the rules, change the hasty attitude while working and on the way.
