Abstract

Pramana, Cipta, 2023. Development of a Normal Childbirth Care (APN) Training Model Based on Blended Training for Midwives and General Practitioners. Postgraduate, Semarang State University. Promoter: Prof. Dr. dr. Oktia Woro Kasmini Handayani, M. Kes., Co-Promoter: Prof. Dr. Tri Joko Raharjo, M.Pd., dr. RR. Sri Ratna Rahayu, M. Kes., PhD. Keywords: Normal Childbirth Care, blended training, competence of midwives and general practitioners Research on Blended training has not been widely carried out, especially in Indonesia. Blended training is a combination of online learning and training (Elearning) with face-to-face and hands-on training. Normal Childbirth Care Training (APN) is a training that must be attended by all midwives who will carry out both independent midwifery practices and in health care institutions in hospitals or health centers. With the progress of Technology, Information and Communication that is so fast, the learning process has also changed from face-toface learning to online learning (E-learning). With blended training, it provides many benefits for both participants, instructors and training organizers. Because training becomes effective and efficient. Therefore, this study aims to develop a training model by developing a Moodle Web-based learning model that can be used practically to increase the knowledge and skills of midwives and general practitioners during the process of participating in APN training. This research method applies research and development design according to Borg & Gall. The results of this study have resulted in the product of a Web- based Moodle Web-based Normal Childbirth Care training model. Through the Moodle Web site, several features can be filled, including learning materials in the form of Word, PDF, Video and Youtube. You can add assignments to participants, discussions between participants and practice questions including how to evaluate them. To be able to access the materials and features on the Moodle Web, participants must first register. The results of the feasibility test for the Moodle Web-based learning model show that the average score given by five expert validators has reached the very good category, namely 3.79 for the usability quality aspect; 3.77 for the aspect of information quality; 3.81 for the quality aspect of service interaction. The results of the Web Moodle practicality test have a very good practicality level of 3.48 from the aspect of usability quality; 3.8 from the aspect of information quality; and 3.56 from the quality of service interaction. The conclusion from this study is that blended training-based training is very feasible and practical to use as a modification of training that has so far been carried out face-to-face. We recommend the steps for developing and using the Moodle Web-based learning model as an alternative choice for increasing the competence of midwives and general practitioners in normal delivery care services.
