The majority of students at SMA Negeri 02 Kalabahi do not know their own culture because there are many tribes in Alor such as Abui, Kabola, Pura, Pantar which hinder the process of channeling local wisdom because there are no special subjects that teach about it, one of which is the loss of local languages.Whereas language is used in communication and becomes the identity of a society. The loss of student identity shows a decrease in the value of national insight. Not only that, the diversity of tribes in Alor also makes it difficult for teachers of arts and culture and mulok subjects to convey material about Alor culture because there are so many tribes, as a result, not all material about these tribes is taught to students but only one tribe is taught. The approach in this study is qualitative with phenomenological methods. The focus of his research is the application of local wisdom, the social construction of students and the process of integration. The informants were school principals, Local content subject teachers, cultural arts and class X students. The results of the study showed that ethnic diversity in SMA Negeri 02 Kalabahi did not hinder the inculcation of national insight values because the school used various strategies to maintain harmonious relationships in the school environment.The local wisdom that is taught to students helps foster national insight values such as values of tolerance, mutual cooperation, love of the motherland and student unity at SMA Negeri 02 Kalabahi. Some of the strategies used by schools in implementing local wisdom-based learning are in local content (mulok subjects), arts and culture, language month, August 17th welcoming competition, use of weaving by teachers every Wednesday, use of vest weaving by students every Thursday, distribution of pickets, Fridays cleaning and morning apples before starting the Teaching and Learning Activity (TLA) process every day. All of these activities aim at growing the value of national insight, one of which is the value of mutual cooperation in clean Friday activities. First, schools must facilitate local wisdom-based learning such as musical instruments. Second, prepare woven vests so that all students can wear woven vests on Thursday. Third, do not focus on learning on one ethnic group so that discrimination does not occur. Fourth, teachers are given guidelines in making teaching materials based on local wisdom. Fifth, the teacher who teaches must understand Alor culture well.
