Abstract

This research aims to develop interactive i-spring teaching materials based on Pancasila student profiles with the help of a synectic model on Indonesian language learning content on poetry writing skills for fourth grade elementary school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. The research was carried out in small and large scale groups, the number of small scale groups was 6 students while the large scale group was 25 students. The data collection techniques used are tests, questionnaires, observation, interviews and documentation. This teaching material has been validated by media, language and materials experts. The results of feasibility validation by media experts got a score of 92.5%, language experts got a score of 90% and material experts got a score of 92.9%. The effectiveness of this teaching material was tested first on small-scale groups before being tested on large-scale groups. The N-Gain results for the small scale group got a score of 0.72 in the medium category, apart from that the small scale group also filled out a feasibility response questionnaire which got a score of 95%. During the learning process, students' creative and independent characters were also assessed by the observation team for creative characters getting a score of 80% and independent characters getting a score of 85%, which means that each character was categorized as very good. The N-Gain results for the large scale get a value of 0.60 in the medium category. Observation research on students' creative and independent character in large-scale groups got a score of 78% for students' creative character with good criteria and independent character got a score of 84% with a very good category. Based on N-Gain, the use of interactive teaching materials with a synectic model is effective. This shows that interactive teaching materials based on Pancasila student profiles with a synectic model are suitable for use in fourth grade elementary school because they can improve poetry writing skills in fourth grade elementary school. This can be proven by the increase in the average score of children in the large scale group in the pretest test which got an average score of 54 in the poor category and in the posttest test they got an average score of 81 in the good category.
