Abstract

Curriculum 2013 is designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Achievement of curriculum in learning can be support by using appropriate teaching materials. However, in recent time found any deficiencies in teaching materials used. Therefore we need a teaching materials supporting character to better, effective and attractive for help the achievement of competence. This study aims to develop a physics teaching supplement materials integrated on conservation value which is proper to use in natural science learning, know the development of cognitive learning outcomes and conservation character. The method used in this research is Research and Development by using Quasi-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest and Posttest Design. Proper test results by reviewing aspects of feasibility content, presentation, language, and graphically shows that physics teaching supplement materials integrated on conservation values are very suitable as natural science teaching materials. The legibility test results show that physics teaching supplement materials is easy to understand. Physics teaching supplement materials integrated on conservation value can affect learning outcomes signed by increasing the value of pretest to posttest which include to medium increase category. Physics teaching supplement materials integrated on conservation value can also develop character of honesty, responsibility, caring, and good manners from 'just begun development' category into 'being entrenched' category which include medium increasing.
