Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran potensi bahaya dan penilaian risiko Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja di bagian Spinning IV Production PT. Asia Pacific Fibers, Tbk. Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis dan rancangan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan identifikasi potensi bahaya di bagian Spinning IV production adalah terdapat 61 potensi bahaya, yaitu: di area dryer sebanyak 15 potensi bahaya, area melting sebanyak 26 potensi bahaya dan area take up sebanyak 20 potensi bahaya. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian risiko, terdapat 31 potensi bahaya dengan tingkat risiko rendah, 15 potensi bahaya dengan tingkat risiko sedang dan 15 potensi bahaya dengan tingkat risiko tinggi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat 61 potensi bahaya di bagian Spinning IV Production. Terdapat 43 potensi bahaya mekanik, 3 potensi bahaya listrik, 2 potensi bahaya kimia dan 4 potensi bahaya fisik dan di bagian Spinning IV Production. Disarankan kepada setiap pimpinan bagian mengawasi secara berkala proses pekerjaan yang dilakukan operator, terutama pada pekerjaan yang mempunyai tingkat risiko tinggi dan pekerja diwajibkan untuk memakai Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) pada saat bekerja. The purposed of this research was to describe the potential hazards and risks Occupational Health and Safety in the Spinning IV Production Section PT. Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk. Regency of Kendal. This research used qualitative and descriptive study design. The validity test of the data used triangulation techniques. The Results of this research were based of hazard identification in Spinning IV Production Section there were 61 potential hazards, that there were 15 potential hazards in the dryer area, there were 26 potential hazards in the melting area and there were 20 potential hazards in the take up area. Based on the results of the risk assessment contained 31 potential hazards with low risk level, 15 potential hazards with medium risk level and 15 potential hazards with a high risk level. The conclusion from this research was that there were 61 potential hazards in Spinning IV Production Section. There were 43 mechanical hazards potential, 3 electrical hazards potential, 2 chemical hazards potential and 4 physical hazards potential in Spinning IV Production Section. Suggested to each leader section regularly were to supervise the work performed operators, especially in jobs that have a high level of risk and workers are required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working.
