The aim of this study is to reveal American imperialism and the American war propaganda behind the invasion in Japan. This study is analyzed qualitatively through the sociology of literature approach in which the analysis is based on the social phenomena occurring in the work, in this case is movie. With new historicism literary theory, sociological and cultural influences of a work are more focused. The data are selected through several steps. The first is watching the movie and then reading its English subtitle downloaded from internet. The next steps are identifying, inventorying, selecting, classifying. Finally, the data are reported in the appendix. The results of the study show some evidences directing to the American imperialism. The first is that the monetary campaign conducted by employing and propagandizing the victory of American war in Japan. The second is the American authority over an ally country, Arab, in the term of oil production. From the analysis, it can be concluded that the war that is conducted by the United States is merely to sow the seed of imperialism, and is aimed to dominate politics over other countries. I suggest the future researcher to raise the American imperialism and its achievement during all of American wars.
