Abstract
Kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) merupakan faktor utama yang diperlukan untuk melaksanakan pembangunan nasional. Perbaikan gizi anak SD/MI merupakan langkah stategis karena dampaknya secara langsung berkaitan dengan SDM yang berkualitas. Data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Banjarnegara tahun 2009, menunjukkan siswa SD/MI di Kecamatan Kalibening yang menderita gizi buruk sebesar 3,64%, mengalami status gizi kurang sebesar 15,24% siswa, siswa mengalami anemia sebesar 100% dan siswa yang tidak lulus KKM mencapai 55,48%. Untuk itulah program PMT-AS dirasa tepat untuk meningkatkan status gizi siswa SD/MI. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian survei deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa SD/MI di Desa Kasinoman Kecamatan Kalibening Kabupaten Banjarnegara yang mendapatkan PMT-AS dari kelas 1 sampai kelas 6 sejumlah 340 siswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Total Sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah daftar nilai. Data penelitian diperoleh dari data sekunder. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat (menggunakan uji chi-square). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan status gizi siswa SD/MI sebelum dan sesudah PMT-AS di Kecamatan Kalibening Kabupaten Banjarnegara, dengan p value 0,030 (p value<0,05); ada perbedaan kadar hemoglobin siswa SD/MI sebelum dan sesudah PMT-AS, dengan p value 0,000 (p value<0,05); tidak ada perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa SD/MI sebelum dan sesudah PMT-AS, dengan p value 0,09 (p value>0,05). Saran yang dianjurkan adalah perlu adanya peningkatan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bidang kesehatan seperti pengrekrutan dokter kecil melalui UKS, perlu memantau daerah rawan gizi secara rutin dan berkala, perlu dilakukan penelitian kembali atas faktor-faktor yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap status gizi dan kesehatan anak. -------------------------------------------> Quality of Human Resources (HR) is the main factor that is required to implement national development. Improved child nutrition SD/MI is a strategic step because of its effects are directly related with quallity of HR. Data from Health Office of Banjarnegara Regency in 2009, data showed that students primary school in Kalibening district who suffered from malnutrition at 3,64%, having poor nutrition status of 15,24% of students, students suffer from anemia of 100% and students who do not pass KKM achieve 55,48%. For that PMT-AS program seems right to improve the nutritional status of students primary school. The study was descriptive survey research with cross sectional approach. The population in this study are all students of SD/MI in the Kasinoman Village Kalibening district Banjarnegara Regency who received PMT-AS from grade 1 to grade 6 of 340 students. Samples taken a number of 340 students is obtained by using total sampling. Instruments in this study was a list of values. The research data were obtained from primary and secondary ones. The data were analyzed univariately and bivariately (using chi-square test). The conclusion of this research is there are difference about nutritional status of Primary school students between before and after receive PMT-AS in Kalibening district Banjarnegara Regency, with p value 0,030 (p value < 0,05). There are difference about hemoglobin levels of Primary school students between before and after receive PMT-AS in Kalibening district Banjarnegara Regency, with p value 0,000 (p value < 0,05). There are not difference achievement of Primary school students between before and after receive PMT-AS in Kalibening district Banjarnegara Regency, with p value 0,09 (p value < 0,05). The recommended advice is need to increase health extracurricular activities such as the recruitment of student doctor through school health unit (UKS), need to monitor areas prone to routine and periodic nutrition, research should be carried back over the factors that can affect the nutritional status and health of children.
