Abstract
This study examines the strategies for teaching reading in using mobile internetbased learning at SMP 37 Semarang before and after Covid-19 or school from home was held. It aims to explore whether mobile internet-based learning is an effective learning model for students and teachers and to find out how students carry out learning activities. This research uses qualitative data to measure learning methods, learning media, learning strategies, student grades, and other important notes related to the strategy of using mobile internet-based learning in teaching reading during the Covid-19 pandemic in 8th grade SMP Negeri 37 Semarang. Data sources are primary and secondary, with primary data being interviews with students and teachers and direct assessments of the condition of the computer labs.
