Abstract

This study aims to analyze the activity ratio, liquidity ratio, solvency ratio to firm value by adding the profitability ratio as a moderating variable. The population in this study are LQ45 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016 to 2019 period. The sampling technique was determined by the purposive sampling technique which was based on the criteria set by the researcher and obtained 98 units of analysis which became the object of observation. The data used in the form of secondary data that comes from financial statements with data analysis techniques using moderated regression analysis with interaction test. This study uses the IBM SPSS 24 application as an analytical tool. The results of the study prove empirically that the activity ratio, liquidity ratio and solvency ratio have a negative and significant effect on firm value. Furthermore, the profitability ratio is able to moderate positively and significantly the effect of activity ratios, liquidity ratios and solvency ratios on firm value. The suggestions for further researchers can consider taking a wider sample criteria in order to get more careful results. Furthermore, it can add other variables that affect firm value. In measuring the variables studied, it is hoped that further measurement or other methods can be used to measure each variable.
