Abstract

The use of Technology 4.0 is predicted to be a driver in the field of accounting, such as through the utilization of big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and blockchain. An accountant in this industrial revolution era must be able to adapt his abilities to digital business conditions if he does not want to be replaced by technology. Therefore, mastery of information technology is absolute for prospective accountants, especially students. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of perceived of usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude towards using technology, digital literacy, and digital socialization on the intention to use digital accounting technology. The population of this study is students majoring in Accounting and Accounting Education Class of 2019, Faculty of Economics, Semarang State University, which totals 328 students and sampling based on the formula of slovin which totals 181 students. The sampling technique uses probability sampling using proportional random sampling. This research uses a quantitative approach. The method of data collection using online questionnaires with the help of google form. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, classical assumptions, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with the help of the IBM SPSS 25 program. The results of this study show that partially the perceived of usefulness has a significant positive effect, the perceived of ease of use has a significant positive effect, attitude towards using technology does not have a significant positive effect, digital literacy has a positive and significant effect, digital socialization does not have a significant positive effect on intention to use digital accounting technology. The advice given to Accounting and Economics Education students class of 2019 is to increase knowledge and skills in using digital accounting technology and try renewable digital accounting programs that can support careers when working later.
