Abstract

Village-level development is massively intensified in an effort to equalize and improve community welfare. Utilization of the village's potential through tourism development. The development of a tourist village is an effort to utilize the potential of the village to improve the welfare of the community. Tourism awareness groups are village-level tourism institutions. Tourism awareness groups play an important role, in addition to being in charge of managing tourism potential as well as being a role model for the community to become a driving force that socializes and promotes tourism in the village. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the role of tourism awareness groups in the development of the Igirmranak village tourism village; (2) the impact after the development of the tourism village for the Igirmranak village community. This research uses qualitative methods. The research focuses on the role and influence of the Igirmranak village tourism awareness group in the development of tourism potential and the impact after the existence of a tourist village for the community. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews and documentation studies. The technique of analyzing research data uses an interactive model. The data collected is carried out data reduction, namely the selection process focusing on the important things that will be used, then presenting the data by grouping and arranging important information and then drawing conclusions from the data presented, the conclusion contains the findings of the research results. The results showed that the tourism awareness group Pesona Roto Dowo Igirmranak village has a big role in the development of tourist villages. Starting planning, implementation, and development of tourist villages. The role of providing understanding and socializing the potential of the village invites people to maintain and care about the preservation of natural, social and cultural wealth as a tourist asset, introducing Igirmranak tourist village. The existence of a tourist village has a big impact, a lot of infrastructure development, increasing awareness and strengthening the community to maintain natural, social and cultural resources, also provides an increase in community income from tourism activities both buying and selling and services. Suggestions for tourism awareness groups Pesona Roto Dowo pay attention to facilities that are still lacking such as street lighting to tourist attractions. Provide education to the community about the concept of a permaculture concept tourism village that becomes an icon of Igirmranak village. And the community is expected not only to care but also to provide support to jointly maintain the existence of the Igirmranak tourist village.
