Abstract
The Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) is the development of a syllabus that must be prepared by the teacher before carrying out learning activities. In the policy of independent learning, the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) has been simplified from a dozen components to three components. This Simplification of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) aims to increase the interaction between teachers and students that is more active, dynamic, and fun. This study aims to: analyze the application of the 4 components of the Independent Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) on Social Studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen and find out new things about the Independent Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for Social Studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen. This research used a descriptive qualitative research method. Sources of data in this study consisted of primary data sources obtained from interviews with Social Studies Teachers and Deputy Principals for Curriculum at SMP N 1 Kebumen and secondary data sources consisting of Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) documents, school profile archives, and documentation. learning and research activities. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. Test the validity of the data used in this study using the triangulation technique which is then analyzed through several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The implementation of the 4 components of the Independent Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in Social Studies subjects at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen has been implemented properly, this is evidenced by the efficient principle of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) has made in a short time to save teacher time, on the principle of effective Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) have achieved learning objectives by the syllabus, the principle of student orientation has also been adapted to the needs of students. Second, 3 mandatory components have been included in the Free Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). Third, teachers are given the freedom to develop the format of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) but still comply with the existing rules. Finally, social studies teachers at SMP Negeri 1 Kebumen, as a whole, have used the Independent Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). (2) New things found in the Free Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) consist of: a reduced number of pages, several components from 13 to 3 components, teachers having a lot of free time, a reduced school budget, and a learning focus is adjusted to the needs learners. Thus, the role of the teacher as a learning center has changed to become a facilitator who can create a pleasant learning atmosphere
