Abstract
The application of the scientific approach is a way to measure the increase in interest, motivation and learning outcomes of students during the COVID�19 pandemic on ecosystem materials and the relationship between interests, motivations and learning outcomes of students during the Covid-19 pandemic on ecosystem materials after using a scientific approach. The problem of teaching and learning activities at SMA Angkasa 1 Jakarta shows that students have low interest and motivation in learning so that it affects learning outcomes, this is because learning during the Covid-19 pandemic makes students passive because learning activities are only teacher�centered. The purpose of this thesis was to measure the effect of the scientific approach on interest, motivation and learning outcomes and to determine the relationship between interest, motivation and learning outcomes. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using the Quasy Experimental method. The instrument used to measure interest is interviews, motivation is a questionnaire and to measure learning outcomes using tests. The sample in this study were 68 students in class X (experimental group) and 69 children (control group). The analysis used is the paired sample t test. The results of the analysis showed that the influence of the scientific approach (1) students approached agreeing regarding the four indicators of interest in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, (2) an increase in students' learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic on Ecosystem material. (3) an increase in student learning outcomes during the Covid-19 pandemic on Ecosystem material (4) there is a moderate relationship between interest, learning motivation and student learning outcomes. It was concluded that the scientific approach had an effect on the interests, motivation and learning outcomes of students and there was a relationship between interest, motivation and learning outcomes of students during the Covid-19 pandemic on Ecosystem material.
