Abstract

After covid hit, the economy tried to revive in various sectors. However, there is one sector that is still very small, namely entrepreneurs, in other developing countries, the entrepreneurship rate is already above 4% but Indonesia is still in the range of almost 4%, indicating that there is still a low interest in entrepreneurship among young people, especially college students. The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of family environment, entrepreneurship education, motivation and locus of control on entrepreneurial intention. The research population is students of the 2019 Universitas Negeri Semarang Economic Education, which is 348 students and sampling based on the formula of 186 students. Sampling techniques used proportionate stratified random sampling. This study used a quantitative approach. Data collection methods using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use descriptive analysis, classical assumptions, multiple regression analysis and hypothesis tests. The results of this study showed that simultaneous family environment, entrepreneurship education, motivation and locus of control had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial interests. Partially the family environment had a significant positive effect, entrepreneurship education had a significant positive effect, motivation had no significant positive effect and locus of control had a significant positive effect on entrepreneurial intention. Suggestions given to students of Economic Education class of 2019 is to increase entrepreneurial motivation to be able to participate in various programs, training, entrepreneurship organizations that have been provided by the campus so that entrepreneurial motivation can improve even more.
