Abstract

Circular family is the term for one of his family members to move residents across the village administrative boundaries with a seasonal period. The purpose of this study is to map the spatial distribution of circulation mobility flows from Turirejo Village, to know the socio-economic conditions and education of a circular family, to identify the factors that underlie the head of a family doing circulation mobility and the low level of education of a circular family, and to analyze the influence of socio-economic conditions and family education. circular to the level of children's education. The research location was conducted in Turirejo Village, Demak District. The study population was 476 household heads in Turirejo Village who were active in circulating mobility and those who were not. The variables of this research are socio-economic conditions and children's education level. The types and sources of data in this research are primary and secondary data. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the Rao Purba formula with an error rate of 10%, so the research sample was 83 respondents. Data collection techniques by means of interviews guided by questionnaires. The data analysis technique used spatial analysis, descriptive statistics and simple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate (1) the spatial distribution of the dominant circulation mobility chooses Kalimantan Island as the destination. (2) the social condition of the heads of circular families, the majority are elementary school graduates due to economic factors so they prefer to work rather than go to school, while the economic conditions of circular family heads have increased after being mobile, which means they can guarantee all the necessities of life. (3) the factor of some family heads in Turirejo Village carrying out circulation mobility, namely the small opportunity to get a job and low income in the area of origin, so that mobility outside the area with the characteristics of the area can provide opportunities to get a job and higher income. (4) the value of t arithmetic is 3,266 > t table 1,989 showing the influence between socio-economic conditions and family education of circulation mobility with the education level of children in Turirejo Village, Demak District. The conclusion of this study is that the dominant island of Borneo was chosen as a mobility destination with a return period of 1 year. The social conditions of circular families are the majority of elementary school graduates due to the economic factors of their parents who cannot afford school fees, so they choose to work. One of the main reasons for the mobility of circulation is that they want to get a job and earn a higher income than in their hometown. The results of the regression test state that socioeconomic conditions which include income, education, occupation, and ownership of wealth have a positive effect on children's education level.
