Abstract

Indonesia is known as a country that has a high level of disaster vulnerability. Flood is one of various types of disasters that often occur. Often these incidents cause damage and loss of life. This is a real threat to society. So disaster education can be a means of conveying knowledge and understanding of disaster potential and disaster risk as an effort to reduce disaster risk from an early age through students. The media plays an important role in increasing students' understanding of the material presented by the teacher. The purpose of this research is to develop learning media based on Android by utilizing the ispring suite and apk builder and to find out the feasibility of learning media based on the assessment of media experts and material experts. The research method used is the ADDIE research and development method or Research and Design (R&D). The research instrument used was a questionnaire sheet or questionnaire sheet. The object of this research is androidbased learning media. Data collection in this study used a questionnaire data collection technique. The results of this study are, 1) Products in the form of Android-based learning media with flood disaster material content accompanied by pictures and videos, and quiz features. 2) The results of the feasibility test by media experts show that from Validator 1 a feasibility percentage of 78.82% is obtained which is categorized as "Eligible", then from validator 2 it is obtained an eligibility percentage of 84.71% which can be categorized as "Very Eligible", and the eligibility percentage from Validator 3 is 78.82 which is categorized as "Decent". As for the percentage of eligibility for the media from the total assessment of the three validators, it was 80.78% which was categorized as "Decent". The feasibility percentage of material experts determines a percentage score of 78.67%, so it can be said that the material in learning media is categorized as "appropriate" to use. The suggestion for this research is to conduct further research to determine the effectiveness of Android-based flood disaster learning media and it is hoped that teachers can use this research product in supporting disaster education in geography learning.
