Abstract

Perception is the process taken by an individual or person in perceiving, interpreting, interpreting something to the environment using the five senses he has. The social impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on students will be very bad if it is continued. For this reason, the government is looking for a solution by considering the implementation of limited NCDs during the pandemic. Limited face-to-face learning is a face-to-face learning system in which there are several limited provisions. Now there are many schools that apply learning using a limited face-to-face system, both in practical and theoretical learning, especially in history subjects, including at SMK Al Asror Semarang. So that the purpose of this study is (1) analyzing the process of implementing face-to-face learning limited in the history lesson at SMK Al Asror (2) knowing the perceptions of class XI students towards history learning during the implementation of face-to-face learning limited at SMK Al Asror (3) knowing the obstacles experienced by class XI students of SMK Al Asror in learning history during the implementation of face-to-face learning limited in the odd semester of 2021. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research and phenomenology at SMK Al Asror Semarang. The data sources used in this study were informants, documents, and activities. The informants in this study were class XI students and history teachers of SMK Al Asror Semarang. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of observation, document review, and interviews. The validity test is carried out using source trianggulation and engineering trianggulation, while for data analysis using an interactive model with stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that (1) the face-to-face learning limited process was carried out by paying attention to the minimum health protocol of 3M, paying attention to several aspects of students, and several learning models, methods and strategies were applied by teachers with new innovations due to the limited time and place. (2) The perceptions of students in the implementation of face-to-face learning limited are quite diverse, ranging from preparation, progress, impact, and expectations (3) obstacles that arise, namely lack of class hours, understanding, students entering late and not bringing LKS. The suggestions proposed in this study are as follows, (1) teachers are expected to learn more in adapting to digital technology and developing learning strategies in each class. (2) Schools are expected to improve the quality of education and supporting facilities in the implementation of face-to-face learning.
