Abstract

An initial study conducted at the SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun showed that in learning the history of the material for the Indonesian nation's resistance to the Europeans, they only used a special textbook for the class X SMK in 2021 published by the Kemendikbud. The media used by the teacher was only PowerPoint, showing videos and films. The aims of this study are to: (1) determine the conditions and needs of historical learning media for the materials the resistance of the Indonesian nation against Europeans at SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun, (2) develop flipbook learning media with the help of Flip PDF Corporate Edition which is suitable for the materials the resistance of the Indonesian nation against Europeans at SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun, (3) describes the feasibility of using flipbook learning media with the help of Flip PDF Corporate Edition which is appropriate for the materials the resistance of the Indonesian nation against Europeans at SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) research method with the modification of the ADDIE development model. Several stages were passed in this research, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, questionnaires or questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that (1) based on the analysis of media conditions and needs that have been carried out for students and teachers, it provides an illustration that the Flipbook learning media assisted by Flip PDF Corporate Edition for the materials the resistance of the Indonesian nation against Europeans at SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun needs to be developed, (2) the development of learning media Flipbook assisted by Flip PDF Corporate Edition materials the resistance of the Indonesian nation against Europeans at SMK Muhammadiyah Kutowinangun using Canva software, Flip PDF Corporate Edition, and Website 2 Apk, (3) the feasibility of Flipbook learning media assisted by Flip PDF Corporate Edition based on the assessment of students is said to be very good and feasible to be used as a history learning media with a percentage of 90,88%.
