Abstract

Less qualified learning resources in the pandemic era require history teachers to take advantage of existing technology. The use of the Ranggawarsita’s Virtual Museum become an alternative in this limited learning resources situation where virtual museum can be used as an offline and online learning resources. This research has several objectives, namely 1). To know the use of the Ranggawarsita Virtual Museum as a source of history learning. 2). To know the obstacles faced by students and teachers in using the Ranggawarsita Virtual Museum as a source of history learning. 3). To know the efforts as to overcome the obstacles of the Ranggawarsita Virtual Museum ufilization. . This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. This focuses of this study is on Ranggawarsita’s Virtual Museum ufilization as a source of history learning at SMA Negeri 16 Semarang. The validity of the data was tested by triangulation technique. The data were analyzed interactively through the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The ufilization Ranggawarsita’s Virtual Museum give a positive impact that provides convenience in time of administration, permission and time and some additional information needed by students in learning history. There are obstacles that must be faced in virtual museum ufilization, such as problem on unstable signal network, inadequate facilities, a less conducive classroom environment and inaccessible virtual museum links, but researchers also examined some efforts from teachers. the manager of the Ranggawarsita’s Virtual Museum in overcoming the obstacles faced in utilizing the Ranggawarsita Virtual Museum as a source of history learning. The conclusions of the study are 1). Students and teachers are facilitated in terms of administration, licensing and time when using the Ranggawarsita’s Virtual Museum as a learning resource. 2). There are obstacles that must be faced in the form of facilities, internet signals, school environment, link errors. 3). Teachers and managers try their best to overcome the existing obstacles so that the virtual museum can be used as a learning resource. After this research is conducted, researcher hoped that history teachers can provide more varied learning models so that students not easily bored easily if they use the same learning model repeatedly, the school also improves the facilities intended to support learning, and the management of the Ranggawarsita’s Museum can make a virtual museum application that can be accessed offline so as to not be constrained by internet signal
