Abstract
The aims of this study are 1) To find out how the use of google classroom in online learning of Indonesian history is used. 2) To measure the effectiveness of online learning of Indonesian history assisted by Google Classroom. 3) To analyze the effect of learning Indonesian history assisted by Google Classroom on student learning outcomes. The research method used in this research is a quantitative research using themethod true experimental design. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. This research is a research that is divided into three stages, the first is the preliminary stage in the form of collecting observation data about online learning, questionnaires and interviews with students and teachers analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive techniques. Second, the development stage is carried out to test the questions given to students using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Finally, the evaluation stage is carried out to determine the level of effectiveness of online learning assisted by google classroom by using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that (1) online learning of Indonesian history subjects at SMK Al-Asror Semarang uses the help of the application google classroom to be a means of delivering material, to check student attendance online, to provide evaluations in the form of questions and give assignments to students, ( 2) online learning assisted by google classroom can be said to be effective because there are several indicators such as a teacher who has carried out the management of the implementation of learning, learning runs communicatively, there is a positive response from students, there are learning activities, there are learning outcomes, (3) student learning outcomes experience The change can be seen from the average pre-test result of 73.22 while the average post-test result of 76.21. Thus, online learning assisted by google classroom has an effect on student learning outcomes. Suggestions for research are to conduct further research to examine related online learning assisted by google classroom on Indonesian history subjects in a more interactive learning atmosphere and encourage teacher creativity to develop a learning atmosphere even though it is done online.
