Currently, teenagers are much influenced by the development of the era and science and technology, so there are differences in behavior that arise from these teenagers. This change in behavior is very worrying if left unchecked, humans will grow who have bad traits such as selfishness, do not care about the interests of others and so on. As the successor of the life of the nation and state, such conditions are very dangerous for the continuation of the Indonesian nation in the future. Therefore, it is important to provide character education for the younger generation from an early age, so that it will produce a young generation who has good character, noble and good character. The purpose of this study project is to produce illustrated children's books with the subject matter of the Sigala Jataka story as a means to communicate the message of character contained in the story to children. The Sigala Jataka story contained in the Suttapitaka Jataka which is part of the Tipitaka tells the story of the Bodhisattva before he was born as a human, it contains moral values and noble character. Artworks that contain religious values can help build children's character.
