Abstract

This study examined the development of interactive learning multimedia using Articulate Storyline software. The study mainly aims to find out the feasibility of interactive learning multimedia developed by the researcher to increase students' enthusiasm in learning English, particularly in Narrative Text. This study adopted a Research and Development (R&D) model which refers to ADDIE development model by Dick and Carry (1996). The subject of this study were an English teacher and 20 students of X IPS 2 SMA Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen. This study was validated by the material expert with an average score of 3.86 and the media expert with an average score of 3.86 were in the very valid category because 3 ≤ M ≤ 4 interpreted that the material and the learning media are feasible to be tested. Based on the results of the limited trials, the learning media was measured by students with an average positive response of 96.67% and the teacher with an average positive response of 4.9. Because of 50% students give a positive response to at least 70% of the number of aspects questioned, the Articulate Storyline-based interactive learning multimedia is feasible to be tested on the subject research and ready to be applied in a larger field.
