Abstract

This learning aims to create thematic learning instruction for physical exercise and health subject based on the nature fifth grades learning system, know the effectiveness application this thematic learning material during the conduct physical exercise and health education subject in fifth grade elementary school, and identify students interest in thematic learning material physical exercise and health education subject for fifth grade. The method used in this research is Research and Development done with product development, in this context it is thematic learning material for PEH subjects for fifth grade. Data collection technique was based on observation, questionnaire and data analysis was assessed with descriptive statistic in which the data was later converted into qualitative data. The subjects is students fifth grade in 18 elementary schools in Brebes Regency. The results product implementation of each theme were explained as follows; Theme 1 average is 93,28; theme 2 average is 93,78; theme 3 average is 90,83; theme 4 average is 92,33; theme 5 average is 94,55. This study concluded that material development thematic learning of PEH subject for fifth grade students elementary could create effective learning, which later canbe used for optimum improvement three aspects learning (cognitive, affective and psychomotor).
