Abstract

In the learning process , learning resources can be presented in various forms of media. Handout is a learning resource that contains material that is contextual such as the dangers of smoking. This study aims to analyze the validity and feasibility of No Smoking handout as a learning resource conservation minded. This study is a research and development (Research and Development) by following the ten steps compiled by Sugiyono namely the potential and problems, data collection, product design, design valida- tion, design revisions, limited testing, revision of the design, implementation learning, revision, and print- ing the final product. Validity No Smoking Handout analyzed using instruments BSNP. Test is limited to 15 students of class XII and the implementation of the handout at the learning done in class XI MAN Pemalang, eligibility No Smoking Handout seen improved cognitive outcomes of students with the design of making a one-group pre-test and post-test design. The validity of research results handout 80.7% with a valid criteria. Improved student learning outcomes in class XI MIA 1 of 0.63 and grade XI MIA 2 of 0.59, both criteria being. The conclusions of this study is No Smoking Handout is a learning resource valid and fit for use as a learning resource conservation minded in learning the respiratory system.
