Abstract

The development of tourism in Central Java since 2009, in order to improve the community's economy has not developed as expected. Through the opening of Telomoyo Peak tourism in Magelang district, it is proven that the community's economy is developing enough. Magelang Regency, which is an area where the tourism sector plays a major role in the economy, is included in the top ten highest ranking foreign exchange tourism in Central Java Province. This study aims to identify the condition of the income level of the village community, as well as the impact of the number of tourist visits on the economy of business actors and tourism services in Puncak Telomoyo. The variables used in this study are capital, working time, tourist visits and tourist expenses. The data used in this study is primary data. The sample in this study were traders who are members of the Puncak Telomoyo tourism area in Magelang district as many as 42 respondents. Data collection techniques in this study using questionnaires and documentation methods. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that capital does not have a significant influence on the community's economy. Working time has a positive and significant impact on the community's economy, tourist visits have a positive and significant impact on the community's economy, Expenditure (has a positive but not significant effect on the community's economy. Suggestions in this study) is to the manager to increase promotion in introducing the Telomoyo Peak tourism object, so that more people know about the tourism object in improving the economy of the Pandean Village community.And finally in the management of traders in the Puncak Telomoyo tourist area, the community and tourism managers can manage working time more efficiently in improving the economy of traders.
