Abstract

Out of School Education or currently known as Non- Formal Education has a special role in national education in Indonesia. Unfortunately, the existence of special education which is actually very close to the lives of Indonesian people is still not popular for wider community. This learning model book about non-formal education is a book that can be used as a reference to better understand the various types of services provided by non-formal education. This book reviews the various services that have been provided by non-formal education and categorizes them into six studies namely Literacy, Courses, Early Childhood Education, Equality, Training, and Extension Education as parts of the service integration provided by non-formal education. This book is arranged as a means of promoting non-formal education, as well as real work that has gone through the process of review, discussion and field experience from the writing team. Each chapter of the study of learning models will explain the concepts and realities faced by each program and non-formal education personnel. This book will not be realized if we do not get encouragement from various references. We also express our high gratitude and appreciation to Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES), which has become the place for the initiation of various ideas and realization of the idea until it finally becomes a book. We realize that this book is far from perfect related to the appearance, content and various grammar writing based on English spelling. Furthermore, we really hope that constructive criticism and suggestion are needed to make it perfect. Hopefully this book can be useful and the authors‘ goal of promoting non-formal education can be implemented. Amen.
