Abstract

The aim of this study is to know CRH learning assisted by problem cards for upgrade the problem solving ability and disposition of mathematical students. The population in this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kedawung school year 2014/2015. By using cluster random sampling technique selected samples of two classes, namely class VII G as an experimental class that uses the CRH learning assisted by problem cards and class VII F as a grade control using expository. Final data analysis using t-test, z proportions, similarity to two averages of test, normality gain of test, regression testing. The results showed that; (1) experimental class students have achieved mastery learning individually and classical; and (2) average and an increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students in the experimental class better than the control class; (3) disposition of mathematics students in the experimental class better than students in the control class; (4)disposition affects mathematical problem solving ability by 73.6%. Based on these results, we can conclude that CRH learning assisted by problem cards was effective for upgrade the problem solving ability and disposition of mathematical students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Kedawung school
